How Loot works[]

Currently, Loot comes in 6 different rarities, with each offering differing amounts or types of modifiers on the items. Items can either be purchased from the vendor, found in chests, or dropped from enemies and bosses. Bosses are guaranteed to drop anywhere between 1 - 7 items.

Loot drops are signified by a small satchel, with the colour of the satchel matching the rarity of item that dropped.

  • Common Items are the weakest and offer no additional modifiers over the base item.
  • Magic Items roll with 1 - 2 modifiers.
  • Rare Items roll with either 2 - 4 modifiers, or if you were meant to get a Unique item but the Base Item you received has no Unique or Set variants in the game, you will get 5 - 6 modifiers instead.
  • Unique Items are fixed items, often having powerful modifiers that are unavailable to other items, or that can drastically change the way Skills and other mechanics function.
  • Set Items are similar to Unique items but also offer "Set bonuses". These bonuses only apply when you receive all matching Set Items.
  • Cursed Items are only available after completing a Nameless Abyss, in which one of your items is cursed and given both a negative and positive modifier. Cursed items cannot be swapped, or further upgraded until they are cleansed by killing a boss, after which they will return to their original rarity, will lose their negative modifier and also keep their new positive modifier.

CoinsIcon Coin Worth[]

When items are dropped, you will be offered to either take the new item, or keep your old one. In either case, you will receive an amount of coins equal to the "Coin worth" of whichever item you choose not to take.
